What it is

Data disappears in two ways: by accident or on purpose. A wrong command, a sync that emptied shared folders, an employee wiping their work before leaving, an insider, or an attacker erasing data and logs to hide what they did.

We recover deleted data from file systems, mail stores, databases and cloud retention layers. When the deletion was deliberate, we also document who did it and when.

Signs you need this

  • Shared folders empty after a sync or migration
  • Mailboxes or messages missing
  • Records gone from a database or business application
  • A departing employee’s work wiped
  • Logs cleared, or gaps in audit trails

What we do

  1. Stop overwrites

Tell you exactly what to stop using so deleted data is not overwritten.

  2. Recover

Extract deleted files, mail and records from storage, backups and retention layers.

  3. Attribute

Where deletion was deliberate, trace which account did it, from where and when.

What you get

  • Recovered data in its original folder structure
  • A list of what was recovered and what could not be
  • Attribution evidence when the deletion was intentional

What we need from you

  • What was deleted, from where, and roughly when
  • Admin or read access to the affected systems
  • Whether anything has been written to them since

Questions

Can you recover data deleted months ago?

Sometimes. It depends on how much new data has been written since and on retention settings. We check before we quote.

Can you show that an employee deleted the data?

Usually. Logs, metadata and system artefacts normally reveal the account, the device and the time.
